Remembrance Sunday

image It was very sad to read in the newspaper yesterday of the arrest of four suspected Islamist terrorists who were believed to be planning an attack on people attending Remembrance Sunday parades in London. It is precisely because so many have given their lives to protect our democratic freedom that these people have the liberty to hold their own views. But that right in no way extends to acts of terrorism! I hope that all events, wherever in the world they take place, pass peacefully and with proper respect.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.
